Dark Shadows Contest

this is my submission for the Dark Shadows Contest on Deviantart :)

I made this piece by using photoshop. all components of the image are drawn out by yours truly with the paintbrush tool. I really wanted this to be a portrait that looks like it could be hung above a fireplace. I put Barnabus in this layed back position because i didn't want him to be completely formal like most portraits are.
overall time: 20 hours

another garter to add to the collection

i made this one for myself as the first one i made didnt have black in it and i really like black :) but i think this one turned out relatively well!  theres freakin four layers of lace on it plus the two strips of ribbon used for caseing. its quite puffy when its on but i figure since my dress is a mega poofy ball gown it wont really matter.  im selling them for $15. add a comment and we can talk!

Prom season!

Prom season is here and i wanted to make use of my time that has all of a sudden appeared by making custom garters! 
here is one I made for a girl at my school:

this is me trying on my dress in a very tiny dressing room.  there were two other ballgowns somehow stuffed into the room plus my massive dress so the skirt/tulle crap is really pooofy. anyways, the picture has been gotten. i may also add feathers to the garter..hmmmm...
anyways, thats what ive been up to other than the musical which i suppose i could post pictures of. oh and solo and ensemble contest for choir...maybe i will post some stuff from that as well. until then, M over and out.

New crafts!!!

i have been scouring Youtube and Stumbleupon for new fun crafts and i found cool candle holders and bows! 

i found a Moraccan themed candle holder set that someone made on stumbleupon with paint and old mason jars.
here is my equivalent!

the photos are very low quality but i think they turned out ok for my first try at it :)

Youtube win

 i finally got hair extensions! i saw a youtube video where a woman showed how to make your own extensions!  it was really easy and i saved about 100$ :) awesome :)  then when i got the extensions in my hair my bangs looked like poop. sooo i looked on youtube how to cut bangs and i did that myself as well :)  i was suppose to use one of those combs with the razor blades in them but im poor so i dont have such things. soo i used an Xacto knife lol i knicked my nose a little in them process but i believe it turned out quite well. what do you think???
